We decided to head up to the mountains for Fourth of July and do some kayaking and fishing with the Mavy Family. We didn't get around to fishing, but had lots of fun in the kayaks, which we borrowed from my mum & dad. The kids loved playing in the water and running around outside. It made me realize we have yet to go camping this year, and we really need to go soon! Bring on the dirt, scraped legs, and ants :)
We went to Ice House Reservoir, which is so beautiful. Besides all of the smoke in the background (Yuck!) it was gorgeous. I love Northern California.

We have a blast hanging out with the Mavy family. Little Dude is always a good sport being a prince or the bad guy for all of the ladies :)
We ended up going over to Sheila's parents house for a bbq and swimming. Baby Belly will forever remember the Hollister house with fond memories - she was given her first cookie by Sheila's parents. The girl was in heaven! The picture doesn't do it justice, but Sheila's dad couldn't resist giving her the blue cookies - which ended up making her look extremely festive :)
