We had a special visitor this weekend, Grandpa Christensen. Jeff was called to be the first counselor in the Bishopric, and Jeff's dad was able to make a quick, last minute trip down to ordain him. We are so grateful that he was able to come and support Jeff.
Callie & Hayden were excited to see Grandpa again, and to have him chase them around the backyard. Thank you very much Grandpa & Grandma, we love you both very much.

Wow. Steve was released on Sunday. So I guess one of us got off the hook and the other put on :)
You guys will do great. It is truly a time commitment but so many good things come from service.
He'll do awesome!!! And really, I'm just relieved:) Doug and I haven't had a "day of rest" since I was put in. If I didn't have meetings, he did. Congrats Jeff! I'm sure you will do an excellent job! I'll give you a week or so before I start harrassing you:)
That's great that Grandpa made it out for the special day. Any advice you have for me to get used to things and help out and do my part....I'd love it.
I am thrilled for you. I'm sure it will mean a lot more work for both of you, but I can't think of anyone more qualified for the job.
