This little guy now has glasses.
They will help him see the white board a little better in the classroom. He has been showered with compliments and attention, which makes him blush every time. His older sister cried for 2 hours after the appointment because she desperately wanted glasses, and didn't need them. We tried to convince her it's better to not need them, but she wasn't buying it.

Savannah and Abby desperately wanted glasses too...they finally saved up $8 and bought the faux glasses at Claire's. I think that started a trend in 2nd grade.
I saw him Sunday with them on but didn't get a chance to tell him how great he looks!!!
Britt wants glasses too. She actually wore a fake pair that didn't even have lenses in them to school one day and got major compliments. Even from some of the adults! I kept thinking, how do they not notice that there are NO LENSES?!?
I soooo ate my words when I told her not to wear them that morning to school. I was afraid the kids would tease her, and NOT for having glasses, but for not having lenses in them! Boy was I wrong. I even had parents asking me when she got them and how cute she is with them. It was so funny! Needless to say that I know what you're going through with your daughter. So funny!
