As we were leaving the house, Callie asked, "are you really bringing that?" as she noticed the camera in my hand. "Mom, no one else's mom is going to be there taking pictures." Yikes! Have I really entered that "my mom is embarrassing" stage with her already? She is so proud of her over-the-shoulder-backpack - it looks almost as big as she is.
Dropping Hayden off at his classroom was much easier this year. He is excited to have the same teachers Callie had last year. They both chose Lunchables to take as their first day lunch, which is a special lunch, and they get to choose whatever they'd like. It makes me smile because I used to always want Lunchables as a kid too. I am excited at the routine a new school year brings, but miss them already too.

What cuties! I can just see the eye roll from Callie with the whole camera thing. I hope they have a great 1st day back! Poor Bells ... whatever will she do without her sibs?
I am so not ready for this next week. So glad it went well for them both. I'm thinking I may have my own breakdowns this week dreading the homework I will have to do next week. Goobye summer!
Amen to the homework comment! So funny what she said about the camera! I was glad we have another week before school starts, but now, at this very moment, it can't come soon enough:)
I'm sad that it's already school time. Your kids look adorable, like always.....it's like a mini Cher & Jeff! Have a great school year guys!!!!
