Last night I was invited to go to a card exchange night, that was so much fun. Everyone makes enough of the same cards to give 2 to everyone in the group. You come with cards already made and exchange them, and then just hang out and talk and eat- perfect! I've seen some of the cards from previous times, and they are beautiful cards - cards I would want to keep rather than give away :) As cards are handed out there is a lot of oohing and aahing, seriously, some of these cards are amazing! I made a card patterned after a card I received from the very talented Shauna from a Close to My Heart Stamp-night, and I think they turned out really nice. I'm already trying to figure out what I want to do next time that will inspire some oohs and aahs.
Baby Belly had her first rice cereal last night, and it was not a hit. I don't know if it was the spoon in her mouth, the texture, or flavor that she didn't care for much, but she wasn't interested at all. I'm sure this won't last long - but it's always funny to see their first reaction to something.
