We recently took a trip up to the snow and had a GREAT time. We went to Echo Summit, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. I was anticipating people complaining about being cold, wet, and tired, but it was quite the opposite! It was very warm, we ended up taking off our jackets, and the kids did not want to leave when it was time. They are already trying to figure out when we can go again. Baby Belly slept almost the entire time, which was so nice. There is something about flying down the side of a mountain on a piece of plastic that does not have a brake or steering wheel that makes me a little anxious about safety. I thought I hid my fears, but apparently not as when we got home, Missy and Little Dude called Nana and Grandpa, and quickly brought up how nervous mom was :) Hopefully we will get a chance to go again soon, and mom can prove she's not as weak-sauce as her 5 and 3 year old think!

Hi guys! Looks like fun! I myself turn into a 5 year old when paired with a sled and a large, snowy hill. Nothing is better than feeling the wind in your hair as you cruise 20 mph down a hill with no intention of stopping anytime soon. It's quite the adrenaline rush. Let loose girl and just throw caution to the wind! Happy sledding!!!
Hi Cheralyn! I am excited about the birth of your blog...I've been dying to see photos of Isabella. And Callie and Hayden are looking so grown up I hardly recognize them.
