Happy St. Patrick's Day

Growing up, St. Patrick's Day was never a big deal in our family, mostly because Mum was British, so I don't really get into it much either. But this year, I saw a cute idea on the website Little Birdie Secrets and wanted to do something fun. Sooooo, we woke up to find this......

A little Leprechaun had walked across our floor and up the fridge to dye our milk green. Missy and Little Dude spent the rest of the morning before school searching the house and backyard for more footprints.

The idea almost back-fired when Little Dude was practically disgusted that our milk was now green- he was sure it was rotten. I had to convince him it still was good, but they definitly got a kick out of it. I don't think I will be able to get away with doing it next year too, as they kept asking, "Why would he put his feet in paint and walk on our floor?" hahaha

Hayden mentioned that today at joy school! I was wondering what in the world he was talking about cause he was so excited and it came out in one big bunch. Now it makes sense! Cute idea!

That's a neat idea - Emery would have Hayden's reaction too. :)
