I consider myself a pretty good parent. I'm observant and attentive to what my children are doing throughout the day, either by seeing them or listening to what they are doing. But this morning when I heard little grunts and noises coming from my room, I was surprised to find this...
Baby Belly was just hanging out on the top of the ladder. (we keep our bedroom door closed, but somehow she found it open, and found the ladder). This is one of those extend-o ladders, that Jeff had out this morning to replace the battery in the smoke detector. Luckily it wasn't still extended against the wall or I can't image how high she would have climbed. I stood right behind her, while Jeff snapped a picture. At the same time we asked each other, "what does she have all over her face and clothes?"
After a little searching, I found this....
Apparently flour is so yummy that she took handfuls to the table to eat. What a silly girl. Again, I consider myself a pretty good parent, but my goodness she got into two things without me even knowing! I think she must be getting quieter and sneakier :)

Cher you have a little monkey on your hands. She looks so proud of herself up there! I hope your family is feeling better.
Oh my gosh! I would never have believed that someone else would get a Zakry! I feel your pain. Or angst, or frustration, or whatever it will soon turn in to be:) There's a reason that heavenly father made them so cute!
They're quick little suckers aren't they!
LOL!!
