This little girl turned 3 last week. Hard to believe! She kept anticipating her birthday the entire month of September, she was very excited.
We opened presents in the morning, and My Little Ponies were the biggest hit. I love this picture. Isabella is so excited with the presents, Callie is trying hard not to have jealous-birthday-tendencies, and Hayden isn't wasting any time playing with the ponies! The birthday person usually gets to pick out what they want for breakfast ( and lunch and dinner), but this little girl is so stinking picky with breakfast, I didn't even think about doing anything special. When Callie woke up that morning, she exclaimed she couldn't wait for the donuts or waffles or whatever we were having. I had to break it to her gently that Bells doesn't even eat breakfast half the time, so I didn't even bother. Big disappointment with Callie & Hayden.
For lunch, we were able to pull daddy away from work for a mommy-daddy-daughter lunch at Chipotle. Our family loves Chipotle. It's a birthday staple. Then it was time to head home to make the cake. All she wanted was a "pink" cake, so a pink cake she got.
For dinner, it was homemade chicken nuggets and homemade macaroni and cheese. I've never made macaroni and cheese homemade before. I was a little sick at the amount of cheese that goes into it, but once I tasted it, I quickly forgot and fell in love with the homemade version.
The day was topped off with a pinata, complete with candy AND silly bands. I'm amazed how much our kids love those things. Happy Birthday to our little Belly! We love you so much.

I can't imagine how crazy things are at your house...we are just entering that stage and I feel torn between helping the young ones get naps, etc. and getting the big girls to all their activities. I'm sure you're doing a fanstastic job of juggling it all.
That cake is beautiful! I loved that you captured her pure joy of presents along with sibling reactions. Too funny! I met you when you were pregnant with her at soccer. Can't believe she is so big!

Well that settles it. I was wondering who were all the kids going into to sunbeams with Jace next year and Cam said bells I said no way she's just a baby. Wow time flies. I remember when you would bring her into nursery with you during singing time when she was tiny. All grown up now :)
