Weekend Wrap Up

We had a fun weekend last week that started with a football game on Friday night, which we won. It was a great game. I ended up sitting next to the defense coach's mother, and as we were chatting, a bee flew down my shirt. At first, I had no clue what it was, but soon realized it was a bee that had gone under my garment and bra! I was frantically trying to get it out without flashing the entire visitor bleacher section. I ended up getting stung on my chest. OUCH! This game will always be memorable for me.




On Saturday, Hayden didn't have a soccer game, so we packed up and headed to the Calaveras Big Trees to do some hiking. The older boys wanted to stay home, so it was just the 5 of us. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful redwood trees.




On Sunday, I attended my first Court of Honor. Eugene earned a merit badge, and Elvis earned a merit badge and his Star. I received my first mother's pin for his rank advancement! Truthfully, Jeff should have received the mother's pin because he puts in all of the effort and time with these boys on their scouting stuff. But, I was still honored. Hopefully, it is the first of many.
